The Hong Kong Society of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (HKSORLHNS), formerly known as the Hong Kong Otorhinolaryngological Society, has been an esteemed organization since its establishment in 1968. In 2001, the society underwent a transformation and assumed its present name.

Our mission is centered around several key objectives. Firstly, we aim to safeguard the welfare and protect the lawful interests of otorhinolaryngology practitioners. Additionally, we strive to foster amicable relationships with medical associations and organizations both locally and internationally. We are dedicated to promoting public awareness of preventive medicine and public hygiene, specifically concerning ear, nose, and throat diseases. The advancement of otorhinolaryngology is a paramount focus, and we actively work towards its development through research and study. We foster unity and a friendly environment among otorhinolaryngology practitioners while upholding their good name, honor, and interests. Our society is committed to collaborating with the government on matters pertaining to public health that concern otorhinolaryngologists. We also engage in advocacy efforts, supporting or opposing legislative and other measures that impact the interests of our members. Finally, we aim to share valuable medical inventions, discoveries, and other relevant information among our members.
